Job summary

Datadog in New York is seeking a Product Management Intern to join our hybrid team. You’ll support product development, collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing, and contribute to decisions affecting engineers and customers.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with a platform processing massive events in multi-cloud environments, sharpening product thinking and technical communication while working closely with full-time PMs.

Qualifications

• Targeting a 2028 full‑time graduation or start date.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Prior internship or project experience in product management or a technical role.
• Exposure to B2B software product development and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery conversations and gather feedback to understand user needs.
• Drive product initiatives from concept through launch alongside Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing teams.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and engineering priorities.
• Analyze customer feedback, product data, and market insights to inform product decisions.
• Prepare and deliver technical product demonstrations and communication materials.
• Develop technical understanding of Datadog’s observability platform and cloud infrastructure products.
