Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator in Coral Gables, FL to bridge sales, ports of entry and production for core products.

Responsibilities include consolidating forecasts, developing weekly demand plans, managing inventory reporting, and coordinating cross-functional updates to keep loading operations smooth; requires 2+ years in a similar role and bilingual English/Spanish. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in supply chain, business, or international commerce.
• At least 2 years in a similar logistics/supply chain role.
• Knowledge of produce industry and agricultural background.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product flow between sales, ports of entry, and production for core products.
• Manage inventory tracking at NA ports; support sales in daily tasks to meet quotas.
• Consolidate weekly sales forecasts and develop demand plans for production.
• Enter data and generate reports; provide weekly updates to sales, management, and production teams.

Purpose of Position:

• This position is responsible for product coordination between sales, ports of entry, and production areas for DM's Core Products.
• Coordinates inventory management of North America ports the commodity and supports the sales team in their day-to-day sales/ tasks to keep the business aligned to sales quotas.
• Consolidate the sales forecast and establish the demand plan weekly to submit to production.
• Manage data entry and reporting for the category.
• Manage and conduct multiple weekly touchpoints to provide sales, upper management, and production team updates and support.

Accountabilities:

• Send daily inventory reports
• Oversee tracking of inventory and carryover
• Develop ways to mitigate shortages of product for daily truck loading
• Tracking Nonconformance fruit to find a customer
• Assist and fix oversell
• Balance oversells between ports
• Coordinate between traffic, sales and the ports daily to ensure truck loading operation is moving smoothly
• Assist in all other projects assigned
• Bachelor's Degree in related Supply Chain, Business or International Commerce from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Some knowledge of produce industry and agricultural background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Good organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Ability to solve complex problems and manage conflict.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Preferred:

• Supply Chain experience.
• Working experience in the Produce industry.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-stress environments is a plus.
• Understanding of import procedures and quality control practices.
• Knowledge of Produce Pro.
