The Intersect Group is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Product Line Manager to oversee performance of our aviation aftermarket product lines. You will manage pricing, inventory strategy, asset valuation, and repair activity to drive revenue growth and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, Finance, or related field.
  • Significant experience in the commercial aviation aftermarket.
  • Strong background in USM (Used Serviceable Material) and airframe materials.
  • Proven experience in product line management, inventory management, or commercial aviation merchandising.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, inventory optimization, demand planning, and asset valuation.
  • Experience supporting or managing aircraft teardown, disassembly, and repair programs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical aptitude with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and investment decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Purchasing, Technical Operations, and Repair organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee profitability and performance of assigned product lines in the aviation aftermarket.
  • Develop pricing strategies based on market conditions and inventory levels.
  • Analyze inventory position, demand forecasts, and turns to guide stocking and investments.
  • Evaluate acquisition opportunities and advise on capital deployment.

Job description

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Product Line Manager to oversee and optimize product line performance within the commercial aviation aftermarket. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory strategy, pricing, asset valuation, repair activity, and investment decisions while supporting revenue growth and profitability objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with commercial aviation aftermarket parts, particularly USM (Used Serviceable Material) and airframe materials, and possess a strong understanding of the economic drivers that impact a product line's performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall performance and profitability of assigned product lines within the commercial aviation aftermarket.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies based on market conditions, inventory levels, demand trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Analyze inventory position, usage patterns, demand forecasts, and inventory turns to drive optimal stocking and investment decisions.
  • Evaluate aircraft, component, and package acquisition opportunities and provide recommendations on capital deployment.
  • Conduct asset, package, and component valuations to support purchasing, sales, and investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with technical, repair, sales, and purchasing teams to maximize product line performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee repair and teardown/disassembly activities to maximize asset recovery and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitive intelligence within the commercial aircraft parts aftermarket.
  • Support acquisition and sales efforts through product line expertise, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop reporting and analytical tools to measure performance, identify opportunities, and support decision-making.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive sound business decisions regarding inventory management, pricing, repairs, and investments.
Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or managing aircraft teardown, disassembly, and repair programs.
  • Knowledge of aircraft component acquisition and capital investment processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical aptitude with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and investment decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Purchasing, Technical Operations, and Repair organizations.
