Job summary

Peak Performance Recruitment's client, a leading aviation aftermarket business, is seeking a Product Line Manager – APUs to own the APU product line and drive revenue across global markets.

You will work with cross-functional teams on pricing, repairs, and inventory strategy, overseeing overhaul activity and return-to-service projects while monitoring market trends and supplier relationships to maximize value.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in aviation parts, repairs, or product line management.
  • Strong knowledge of APUs and aircraft components.
  • Experience buying, selling, repairing, or managing aviation assets.
  • Knowledge of Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the APU product line, driving revenue and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to buy, repair, lease, exchange, and sell APU assets.
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize value of inventory.
  • Work with Technical and Repairs teams on overhaul activity and return-to-service projects.
  • Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, repair vendors, OEMs, MROs and customers worldwide.
  • Use data and commercial insight to support business decisions, improve margins, and grow market share.

Job description

Our client is a leading aviation aftermarket business specialising in the acquisition, management and sale of aircraft parts, engines and assets to airlines, MROs and aviation organisations worldwide.

Job Summary

Following significant private equity investment, our client is looking for a Product Line Manager – APUs to take ownership of a key product line within its growing aviation aftermarket business.

You will drive strategy, acquisitions, inventory performance, repair activity and revenue generation across the APU product line.

Experience Required
  • 5+ years' experience in aviation parts, repairs, or product line management.
  • Strong knowledge of Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) and aircraft components.
  • Experience buying, selling, repairing, or managing aviation assets and inventory.
  • Good commercial skills and experience improving revenue and margins.
  • Knowledge of Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
