Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Product Development Center (PDC) in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a Product Line Engineering Manager for P&A. You will lead the top LCP program, define scope, requirements, and mentor the PLT to deliver durable, manufacturable Parts & Accessories that enhance customer riding experience.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering (master’s preferred) and 8+ years of relevant experience, with strong cross-functional leadership and program management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Broad product development experience and knowledge.
• Experience operating within a formal product development process and leading program management activities including critical path timelines, program budgets, resource allocation, quality planning, and issue resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to make robust, lasting decisions and to optimize tradeoffs across multiple stakeholder inputs.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical and business subjects in a clear, concise manner to multiple levels of the organization and work with diverse global teams both internally and externally.
• Experience mentoring others either within or adjacent to your direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Actively lead, inspire, and develop a team of direct and indirect reports.
• Program Scope: Define program scope by partnering with key stakeholders to deliver a vision that meets objectives and manage resources and expenses.
• Program Requirements: Document How We Win and Table Stakes requirements that define critical product attributes and translate them into vehicle/system levels.
• Product Development: Prioritize development activities to ensure progress and that outcomes meet expectations; ensure solutions are efficient, durable, and manufacturable.
• Program Operations: Lead day-to-day program activities, use metrics to drive the program and mitigate risks.
• Program Communication: Ensure robust communication up the leadership chain so expectations are clear and risks are understood.
