Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is partnering with a respected law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a busy products liability defense practice.

You will support all phases of litigation, oversee case calendars, drafts, and discovery, and assist with trial preparation in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives on complex case files, collaborates with attorneys and clients, and demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience supporting defense-side products liability litigation.
• Experience assisting with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Strong understanding of federal and state court procedures.
• Experience managing complex case calendars and deadlines.
• Familiarity with litigation support and eDiscovery platforms is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial.
• Coordinate and manage case calendars, deadlines, court filings, and litigation-related documentation.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness materials, and case files.
• Prepare, review, and maintain pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence.
• Monitor compliance with federal and state court rules and procedural deadlines.
• Track billable time and assist with matter management and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
• Utilize litigation support and document review platforms to organize and manage case materials.
