Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal in Fort Worth, TX to support a busy litigation practice with organized, proactive handling of matters from inception through trial.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to deliver exceptional client service while collaborating with attorneys across probate, civil litigation, appellate, and nonprofit matters. Office-based with potential for future hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong civil litigation and discovery experience.
• Experience managing cases from inception through trial.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong proofreading, grammar, and writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage litigation files.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Prepare and manage discovery requests and responses.
• Create pleading shells and litigation templates.
• Calendar deadlines and monitor case activity.
• Handle state and federal court filings, primarily in state court.
• Assist with trial and deposition preparation.
• Manage document production and organization.
• Prepare Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities.
• Perform citation checking and proofreading.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status and updates.
• Proactively track case progress and alert attorneys to upcoming deadlines and developments.
