Job summary

Veritiv in West Mifflin, PA seeks a Product Manager to own product categories, setting vision, strategy, and execution plans to achieve financial targets. This role establishes where to play, how to win, and needed capabilities and tracking.

You will lead vendor management, demand programs, pricing strategies, and cross‑functional collaboration, translating technical requirements into customer‑centric solutions in a regulated life sciences context.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in product management, cold chain packaging, or temperature-controlled logistics.
• Strong understanding of cold chain packaging systems and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA GDP).
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of product and vendor management including strategy, programs to create demand, financials, cross functional and vendor relationships, product selection, negotiation and deal closure.
• Manage the financials including sales results, item lifecycle, returns, margins, program dollars, terms and conditions, and corporate goals, supported by Finance Team.
• Serve as SME for the assigned product line.
• Analyze product category performance and maximize sales and income.
• Develop product plans and strategy for stakeholders to ensure alignment with plans.
• Create, manage and track product promotions.
• Own the cost management process including negotiations, vendor compliance, and system implementation.
• Review and approve requests for new items and ensure profitable vendor selection.
