Job summary

Bloomberg’s CTO Office seeks a Product Management Lead to head the Data Activation pillar, a senior leadership role reporting into the CTO organization. You will lead a multidisciplinary team spanning product managers, data scientists, and developer relations to enable data-driven innovation and empower customers to build on Bloomberg’s data.

You’ll define a product strategy connecting internal data capabilities to real-world experiences, shaping APIs, programmatic interfaces, and AI use cases

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of product management or related technical leadership roles.
• 5+ years leading cross-disciplinary teams.
• Experience launching and scaling API or data platform products.
• Strong understanding of data systems, APIs, and developer workflows.
• Ability to translate data and infrastructure into user-facing solutions.
• Customer-centric thinking with measurable impact.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a compelling product vision and roadmap for data activation across APIs, Terminal, AI platforms, and developer ecosystems.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, developer advocates, and data specialists.
• Partner with engineering, AI research, and product teams to align strategy and deliver seamless data access experiences.
• Drive programmatic data access through BQL, APIs, SDKs, and integrations for external workflows and AI use cases.
• Shape external developer strategy to extend Bloomberg’s data platform with tools and engagement programs.
• Define success metrics and KPIs, using data-driven insights to drive adoption and improvements.
• Stay ahead of trends in data APIs, AI/ML integration, and developer platforms.
