Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for the daily support and administration of Salesforce environments. They will also be making small changes to Apex code, making configuration changes and customizing Lightning Flows, managing custom integrations, and creating reports.
Major Responsibilities
- Function as Salesforce specialist CRM developer responsible for the support of multiple Salesforce applications within the Client organization.
- Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and support of Salesforce, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Use ServiceNow to track incident/request progress.
- Daily administration and support of the Salesforce CRM system, including managing user setup, roles and security, territory management, customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.
- Development of triggers, custom objects, Lightning Flows, and small enhancements to Apex/Batch classes.
- Develop and create customized reports and dashboards within Salesforce CRM.
- Perform data management activities, including data loads and data cleanup jobs, as per business requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOP documentation for Salesforce functionalities and integrations with third‑party systems.
- Stay updated on key Salesforce technology trends and identify opportunities to incorporate new capabilities into the Client's Salesforce environment.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator/Developer, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- 2-3 years of experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- 2+ years of experience in data architecture and data migration.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration (Flows, Reports, Dashboards, Page Layouts, Record Types, Permission Sets, Territory Management, Roles, Profiles, Sharing Rules).
- Hands-on experience with OmniStudio and OmniScripts.
- 3-5 years of experience debugging integration issues related to Informatica/ETL data loads, REST APIs, Platform Events, and Streaming APIs.
- Development experience enhancing Apex code and Batch classes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with Lightning Web Components (LWCs) and the ability to translate business requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as ADO, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Experience with Salesforce deployments using Copado and GitHub.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
- Salesforce CPQ experience preferred.
- Experience with third‑party tools such as Marketo, Seismic, Qualtrics, and Discovery Framework.
- Experience with defect management and test automation tools.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
