Oberto Snacks, Inc. is seeking a Product Inspector to support the 2nd shift in Kent, WA. The role focuses on food safety checks and QA for ready-to-eat lines, ensuring products meet company specifications for quality and safety.

You will work with a team to maintain high standards across processes. Ideal candidates bring GMP awareness, HACCP familiarity, and at least 6 months of processing experience, with basic iPad literacy and strong safety discipline.

Qualificações

• Basic computer literacy (Using iPad) required.
• GMPs and personal safety rules must be understood and followed.

• Approximately 6 months processing experience preferred.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Product Inspector is responsible for conducting food safety checks with support for the ready-to-eat processing lines. This role monitors the quality and food safety of WIP to ensure consistent and safe products that meet company specifications are supplied to our customers.

WAGE: Hourly range for this position is $19.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour for shift differential for working 2 nd shift.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather random samples and perform MPR AW (water activity) analysis in accordance with written procedures.
• Release product based on the results of AW samples.
• Ensure sanitary handling procedures in all activities.
• Inform Management of any Food Safety/Quality issues or of any processes which have become noncompliant with specified requirements.
• Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School or Equivalent
• Experience with Quality Assurance (Preferred)
• Basic computer literacy (Using iPad)
• Understanding and compliance with all GMPs (OJT)
• Understanding and compliance with all personal safety rules (OJT)
• Familiarity with HACCP (OJT)
• 6 months processing experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work environment is that of a processing environment. This employee regularly works with hazardous machinery, materials, chemicals, wet floors and with wet equipment. This employee regularly works around high voltage, hot water, and steam

• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Physical work includes climbing stairs, pulling hoses, etc.
• Willing to work in a various-temperature environment
• Ability to handle heavy objects safely and with proper body mechanics. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and routinely maneuver objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
