Job summary

Oberto Snacks, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Product Inspection Technician for the 2nd shift to monitor the quality and food safety of WIP on ready-to-eat lines. You will conduct AW analyses and release products meeting specifications.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMPs, HACCP, and safety procedures, with a focus on maintaining a robust quality culture and supporting ongoing improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent education required.
• Experience with Quality Assurance preferred.
• Basic computer literacy using iPad.
• Understanding and compliance with GMPs (OJT).
• Understanding and compliance with personal safety rules (OJT).
• Familiarity with HACCP (OJT).
• 6 months processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather random samples and perform MPR AW (water activity) analysis per procedures.
• Release product based on AW sample results.
• Ensure sanitary handling procedures in all activities.
• Inform Management of any Food Safety/Quality issues or noncompliance.
• Other tasks as assigned.
