Job summary

Fresh, a global skincare brand under LVMH, is seeking an Associate Manager, Product Innovation in New York. You will support skincare, lip care, body care, and fragrance launches and reformulations, collaborating with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to meet milestones and drive innovative products.

The role emphasizes science-driven product concepts, competitive insights, and sustainability, with opportunities to influence packaging, claims, and ingredient choices.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in cosmetic product development, skincare preferred.
• Experience working day to day with R&D to discuss technical details of formulation.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic industry regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communications with internal partners and vendors.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Bachelor’s degree; sciences or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director, PI to manage project milestones with R&D to ensure timely product development.
• Define testing needs, oversee safety/efficacy panels and timing.
• Publish detailed Product Profiles with concepts, features, benefits and ingredients; present to Marketing and Creative teams.
• Manage reformulation aligned with strategy and regulations.
• Search for new ingredients with R&D and external suppliers; maintain ingredient database.
• Monitor competitive launches, ingredient tech, claims and marketing trends.
• Review timelines with cross-functional teams to keep launches on target.
• Prepare product briefs for R&D validation and feasibility.
• Brainstorm new product concepts and define benchmarks; support launches.
• Track product submissions and provide feedback to R&D; coordinate approvals.
