Job summary

Case-Mate seeks a Product Image Specialist to ensure imagery is accurate, retailer-ready, and delivered on time. You will blend expert Photoshop production with hands-on coordination of overseas studios that prepare our product image sets, set standards, assign work, and inspect files before assets reach retail partners.

You will collaborate with Product Development, E-commerce, Sales, and Marketing to gather inputs, improve briefs, and maintain a clear workflow across time zones.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in product-image production, high-end retouching, e-commerce imaging, or a related discipline within a high-volume consumer-products environment.
• Expert-level Adobe Photoshop skills, including advanced selections and masking, color correction, compositing, non-destructive editing, and production automation.
• Experience creating retailer-ready image sets while working within detailed technical specifications and brand standards.
• Experience directing, coordinating, or quality-checking work produced by overseas studios, vendors, or distributed production teams.
• Strong working knowledge of digital asset management, file naming, metadata, version control, and archival practices.
• An exceptional eye for detail and the ability to catch product inaccuracies, color shifts, alignment issues, and inconsistent finishing.
• Serious organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage a high volume of assets and overlapping deadlines.
• Clear written communication that turns visual feedback into specific, actionable revision instructions.
• A portfolio that demonstrates polished product retouching, image-set consistency, and technically accurate e-commerce work.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in photography, graphic design, imaging, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare polished, retailer-ready product image sets for e-commerce platforms, retail partners, sales teams, and brand channels.
• Retouch, color-correct, mask, composite, resize, crop, and optimize product images with expert Photoshop skills.
• Oversee day-to-day workflow of overseas studios, from briefs to final acceptance.
• Translate internal and retailer requirements into clear production instructions for overseas partners.
• Review studio output against source products and brand standards; document needed changes and verify revisions.
• Build strong relationships across time zones and ensure smooth handoffs between Atlanta and overseas studios.
• Keep asset trackers current with status, ownership, due dates, revisions, approvals, and readiness.
• Manage image naming, metadata, version control, folder structure, uploads, and archival practices in the DAM system.
• Ensure final files meet dimensions, resolution, color profile, background, format, and product assortment requirements.
• Spot missing assets, incorrect product details, duplicates, and potential issues before launches or deadlines.
• Collaborate with Product Development, E-commerce, Sales, Marketing, designers, and photographers to gather inputs and keep imagery moving.
• Improve studio briefs, Photoshop templates, checklists, naming conventions, and QC practices to reduce errors.
