Job description

At Case-Mate, the product may be the star—but the image is what gets it noticed. The Product Image Specialist makes sure our imagery is accurate, consistent, retailer-ready, and on time. This role blends expert Photoshop production with hands-on coordination of the overseas studios that prepare our product image sets. You’ll set standards, assign and track work, inspect files closely, and resolve quality issues before assets reach retail, e-commerce, sales, or marketing partners.

The right person knows a beautiful image only works when the product details are right, every technical requirement is met, and the approved asset can be found without launching a search party.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and prepare polished, retailer-ready product image sets for e-commerce platforms, retail partners, sales teams, and brand channels.
  • Put your Photoshop expertise to work retouching, color-correcting, masking, compositing, resizing, cropping, and optimizing product images—without sacrificing product or color accuracy.
  • Own the day-to-day workflow of our overseas studios, from briefs, priorities, specifications, assignments, and deadlines through feedback, revisions, and final acceptance.
  • Turn internal requests and retailer requirements into clear production instructions that overseas partners can execute accurately the first time.
  • Review studio output against source products, approved designs, brand standards, and channel specifications; document exactly what needs to change and verify every revised file.
  • Build strong working relationships across time zones and create dependable handoffs that keep work moving between the Atlanta team and our overseas studios.
  • Keep trackers current and useful, with clear visibility into asset status, ownership, due dates, revision history, approvals, and delivery readiness.
  • Bring order to the asset library by managing image naming, metadata, version control, folder structure, uploads, and archival practices within the company’s digital asset environment.
  • Make sure final files check every box: dimensions, resolution, color profile, background, format, compression, naming, and product assortment.
  • Spot missing assets, inaccurate product details, duplicate files, and other trouble early—before they put a launch or retailer deadline at risk.
  • Partner closely with Product Development, E-commerce, Sales, Marketing, graphic designers, and photographers to gather inputs, answer questions, and keep imagery moving.
  • Make the process smarter by improving studio briefs, Photoshop templates, checklists, naming conventions, and quality-control practices to reduce errors and repeat revisions.
  • Jump in personally to complete or correct priority imagery when studio output or timing does not meet the business need.
What Success Looks Like
  • Retailer-ready image sets land complete, accurate, and on schedule.
  • Overseas studios get clear direction and consistently meet Case-Mate’s quality and file standards.
  • Product and color errors are caught before assets leave the building—or the server.
  • Internal teams can quickly see asset status and find the final approved files they need.
  • Revision cycles shrink because briefs, feedback, and quality checks are clear, specific, and consistent.
