Job summary

Fastenal’s Indianapolis distribution center is seeking a Product Handling Lead to supervise day-to-day operations in the Product Handling department, consolidate product, restock locations, and move inventory within the DC while guiding staff to meet efficiency and accuracy goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Lead and motivate a team of employees.
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs.
