Linktree seeks an Engineering Director to lead multiple product engineering teams in a product-first, consumer-facing environment. You will champion craft, velocity, and customer impact while scaling leaders and shipping high-quality experiences.
You'll partner with Product and Design to translate strategy into execution, set technical direction, and ensure user-facing systems are reliable, performant, and beautiful for millions of users. AI-enabled tooling will accelerate outcomes.
Qualifications
- Leading multiple product engineering teams in a consumer-facing environment.
- Strong web stack knowledge: TypeScript, React, GraphQL, AWS.
- Proven ability to ship product with high UX and performance standards.
- Experience building leadership pipelines and shaping org design.
- AI-forward mindset with use of automation and LLM tools.
Responsibilities
- Own engineering execution and outcomes across product teams.
- Coach and develop Engineering Managers and senior ICs.
- Set technical direction and standards for user-facing systems.
- Partner with Product and Design to shape roadmaps and scope.
- Drive delivery excellence and prioritize high-impact work.
- Guide architectural decisions for front-end and full-stack systems.
- Champion quality, performance, and reliability, including testing.
- Leverage AI to accelerate delivery and product impact.
- Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
