Linktree is seeking a Principal Product Designer to lead a small team of senior designers while staying hands-on, shaping how creators discover, organize, and share content through Linktree. This player-coach role will foster design excellence and drive impactful outcomes.

You’ll set vision, partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, and scale the design function as the company grows, with a path to broader leadership on the Design leadership team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design experience at scale, including leadership roles.
• Hands-on leader who coaches while contributing craft.
• Proven track record shipping high-quality design in consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a small team of senior designers.
• Personally own and ship design on high-leverage problems.
• Set design vision and ensure quality across the team.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing leaders.
• Own hiring and team composition for the area.
• Establish and evolve craft standards and rhythms.
• Represent design in cross-functional forums and drive business impact.
• Balance individual craft with management responsibilities.
