Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams and follow directions.

Job DescriptionROLE OVERVIEWThe Product Finisher is responsible for working as part of a team and assembling, inspecting, and packaging product. The main focus is to help facilitate the timely manufacturing and delivery of Amcor Shield Pack’s products, ultimately leading to customer satisfaction, all while maintaining safe work practices and adhere to food safety and GMP guidelines.WHAT YOU GET TO DOFollow all safety policies and procedures at all timesPerforms handwork – including cutting, inspecting, sealing, gluing, taping, labeling and spoutingPackages finished goods and prepares them for shipmentPerforms quality checks on products and partsReviews work orders and drawings to ensure work is performed according to specificationComplete production reports when necessaryPractice good housekeeping – including sweeping, dusting, wiping off tables, etc.Actively participate in all required trainings including but not limited to safety and technical trainingsResponsible for inspecting all goods producedResponsible for packaging all goods producedResponsible for trimming and accuracy of all goods producedResponsible for data accuracy of all transactions performedOther duties as assigned to ensure production remains streamlined and as successful as possibleWHAT WE VALUE• Strong customer focus (both internal & external)• Excellent communication skills• Ability to demonstrate the ability to interact successfully with a wide range of individuals.• Excellent accuracy and consistency in data entry and delivery• Ability to prioritize tasks and maximize job efficiency• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to stand for long periods of time• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Ability to tolerate potential contact with chemicals and cleaning supplies• Ability to work as part of a teamWHAT WE WANT FROM YOUHigh school diploma, or equivalent, is preferredSix months experience in manufacturing environment, is preferredAbility to read diagrams and follow directionsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position requires an employee to stand, walk, turn, bend, reach, and/or squat for extended periods of time. Regular exposure to a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. Potential contact with chemicals and cleaning supplies, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is a requirement. Occasional exposure to excessive noise levels is possible. Employees may be required to wear PPE including but not limited to approved gloves, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
