Job description

XOi, the leading provider of jobsite-focused technology for the field service ecosystem, arms the industry with a digital tool that connects people to mission-critical equipment. XOi technology is the hub in which every part of the job—from the field to the manufacturer—connects. XOi provides AI-powered workflows, asset and team management functions, a comprehensive knowledge base, and immediate revenue-producing insights leveraging data from current and historical projects. Beyond this tool that manages consistency, profitability, and transparency, XOi’s goal is to create future-focused technology that modernizes the field service industry as a whole, and delivers 1 of 1 asset origination, performance, and diagnostics information of mission critical assets.

About the Role

We are seeking a Product & Engineering Operations Lead to build and scale the operating system for our combined Product and Engineering organization. You will own the metrics, rhythms, and systems that give leadership clear visibility into how effectively and efficiently we deliver customer value. This highly visible leadership role connects key stakeholders—including Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Data—through shared practices, trusted product intelligence, and scalable systems. You will also define how we leverage AI to improve product discovery, planning, execution, and organizational effectiveness across both departments.

Responsibilities
Metrics, Insights and Operational Visibility
  • Own the unified Product & Engineering scorecard — including engineering delivery metrics (DORA, cycle time, delivery predictability, quality), product performance metrics (adoption, retention, opportunity conversion), and portfolio health.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that make effectiveness and efficiency visible in near-real-time.
  • Track capacity allocation across the teams so investment stays aligned with strategy.
  • Surface R&D efficiency indicators (engineering spend per outcome, throughput per team, ramp time) and translate them into decisions leadership can act on.
  • Develop and improve systems combining customer feedback, usage data, research, commercial insights, engineering metrics, and operational data into trusted product intelligence.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Data teams to ground decisions in measurable outcomes, synthesize Voice of Customer insights, and identify portfolio opportunities.
  • Own and evolve the Product and Engineering operating model, including strategic planning, portfolio and roadmap governance, lifecycle management, execution visibility, launch readiness, and cross-functional rhythms.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to continuously improve planning, prioritization, delivery predictability, and cross-functional execution.
Cross-Functional Execution
  • Facilitate alignment across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, and other business functions to ensure strategic initiatives are coordinated and delivered successfully.
  • Lead operational planning for major product launches and cross-product initiatives, proactively identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improved collaboration.
AI Enablement
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to identify AI opportunities to improve product operations, engineering workflows, research synthesis, documentation, planning, and decision support.
  • Develop best practices, workflows, and governance for AI-assisted product development while ensuring appropriate human oversight and quality standards.
Product Systems & Knowledge Management
  • Own Product and Engineering operational tools to ensure systems effectively support research, roadmaps, planning, documentation, decision history, and organizational knowledge.
  • Establish consistent documentation standards so product and engineering knowledge remains discoverable, traceable, and useful for both employees and AI-powered workflows.
  • Continuously optimize the Product and Engineering stack to reduce friction and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience leading Product Operations, or in related B2B SaaS disciplines like Product Management, Engineering Ops, TPM, or Customer Success.
  • Proven track record of building or scaling Product Operations in high-growth software organizations.
  • Strong understanding of modern product development, software delivery practices, and product lifecycle management.
  • Skilled at leveraging data, customer insights, and engineering metrics to drive strategy and prioritization.
  • Enthusiasm for utilizing AI-powered productivity tools to optimize Product and Engineering operations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing and optimizing tools like Notion, AirTable, Productboard, Jira, Linear, or Aha!.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity while establishing scalable practices to support rapid growth.
