Job summary

Clarios invites students to join as a Summer 2027 hybrid internship in the Milwaukee area, focusing on battery cell supplier evaluation, test planning, and data communication.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry or Materials Science and can work up to 40 hours per week during the season.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry or Materials Science.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
• Duration: Summer 2027. Up to 40 hours per week.
• Working arrangements: Hybrid internship – quiet workspace, option to work in the office, regular contact with supervisor via virtual methods.

How You Will Do It

• Assist with comparing cell chemistries and designs to determine performance, quality, and application fit.
• Review and summarize performance data and reports from cell suppliers.
• Document and summarize teardown observations and technical evaluations.
• Assist with requirements analysis and validation planning for customer-focused projects.

What We Look For

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry or Materials Science.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
• Duration: Summer 2027. Up to 40 hours per week.
• Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
