Qualifications

• Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college/university
• Minimum 2.5 or above GPA preferred
• Must be able to complete a minimum of 4–6 months or a maximum of 12 months commitment
• Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
• Willingness to learn from others on the job
• Must be currently residing within the continental U.S.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to investigating issues within the VPI program, understands causal mechanisms and documents results with guidance
• Applies and supports processes such as Critical Design Decisions and Design Review with tools to enable high-quality design decision making
• Support communication of design intent through thorough Design Review packages to PPT, VPI, VPCR teams
• Support design decision making in concept selection and design specifications impacting target customers
• Participate in problem resolution for moderately complex components and systems under guidance
• Coordinate with technicians and student workers as needed
• Contribute to team goals and develop competency in role
