Job summary

AeroVironment in Simi Valley, CA is seeking an Engineering Intern to contribute to a focused area of Engineering that fits your studies and experience. You’ll work with a team to tackle real-world challenges, supporting the design and test of flight hardware/software systems as part of a path toward product development.

You must be a junior or higher in a relevant major, passionate about building, and ready to learn in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled junior, senior or grad student pursuing a degree in Aero/Mechanical/Electrical or CS/Engineering.
• Completed coursework relevant to major and UAV/robotics experience.
• Hand-on experience with relevant tools and software in your area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Use hands-on knowledge to participate in multiple phases of the Engineering/Manufacturing Design & Development process.
• Support engineering and design activities in your discipline using the listed tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
