Job summary

Immuta, the data authorization company, is seeking a Product Engineering Intern to join the team and work on real product features. You will learn how ideas become working software, observe technical decision making, and ship code in production.

You will join a collaborative team, contribute to product work released to production, and apply coursework to practical software engineering challenges while growing your skills in a hybrid, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer science or computer engineering; experience with at least one programming language.
• Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience beyond coursework (internship, hackathon, side project) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join the Product Engineering team as an engineer, contributing to real product work.
• Apply coursework concepts to practical software engineering problems.
• Collaborate with teammates to understand problems, explore solutions, and build software.
• Develop skills through the team’s regular engineering workflow: coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and collaboration.
• Take ownership of well-scoped work and communicate progress clearly.
• Learn how engineers build software that supports real customer needs.
