Job summary

Immuta is seeking a UX Design Intern to join the team and help connect customer needs to what the product actually does. You’ll learn how a product team moves from discovery to design and prototyping, working with UX designers, product, and engineering.

You will explore user problems, turn insights into concepts and prototypes, and communicate design decisions using tools and front-end skills where relevant across responsive and mobile interfaces.

Qualifications

• A portfolio that demonstrates design work and prototyping.
• Strong ability in at least one area: visual design, user research, or frontend development.
• Curiosity about users and products, and ability to learn.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Explore user and customer problems through research and workshops.
• Turn insights into concepts, flows, mockups, and prototypes.
• Use design tools to communicate ideas and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teammates to shape solutions.
• Participate in storyboarding, journey mapping, user interviews, and critiques.
• Prototype for responsive and mobile interfaces using frontend skills when relevant.
