Job summary

Immuta, the Data Authorization Company, invites a Product Research Intern to join a multidisciplinary team. You’ll work with researchers and engineers to test ideas from theory to practical prototypes in a real-world setting.

You’ll tackle problems in data privacy, governance, and machine learning, helping turn research into useful product capabilities and gaining exposure to Immuta’s governance-centric data platform.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer science, mathematics, statistics, ML or other quantitative field.
• Experience with research or independent projects is a plus.
• Programming experience and applying skills to data/research problems.
• Strong communication and ability to explain work clearly.
• Curiosity, initiative, and interest in turning research into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research scientists and software engineers.
• Explore research and product projects and develop one related to the team’s work.
• Translate ideas into prototypes, experiments, and functional software.
• Apply research methods to practical problems in data privacy, governance, ML, or text analytics.
• Evaluate approaches using data, experiments, and measurements.
• Document findings and communicate with teammates.
