Job summary

Artie in San Francisco is seeking a Product Engineer to join our small, dynamic team. This in-person role offers the chance to wear multiple hats, interact directly with customers, and help shape the future of our distributed systems and data infrastructure.

You will work on end-to-end features, from UX improvements to system tooling, across Go, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes. If you’re passionate about reliable, scalable engineering, join us.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of web development experience and startup experience.
• Pragmatic approach focused on building the right thing.
• Comfort with jumping around the stack and wearing different hats.
• Passion for building easy-to-use, extensible products.
• Go proficiency preferred but not required.
• In-person role, based in San Francisco's Financial District.

Responsibilities

• Talk to customers (technical) to streamline workflows and improve UX.
• Build features like column exclusion, encryption, and schema change alerts.
• Improve internal tooling and build automation to ship features and manage infrastructure.
