SKF Automotive Business in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Product Engineer to join the R&D Driveline Engineering team. You will help develop the next generation of products for traditional and electrified powertrains, translating market trends into efficient, cost-effective solutions.

You will support CAD activities, technical data, specifications, and documentation, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and contribute to testing and validation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Interest in high-precision mechanical products and automotive applications.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with 3D CAD and product data management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Support creation and maintenance of product data and engineering information.
• Prepare product specifications, application recommendations, and documentation.
• Assist CAD activities for customer projects under senior engineers.
• Participate in design reviews, prototype evaluations, and validations.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Application Engineering teams translating requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize products.
• Stay current with bearings, driveline systems, and EV powertrains trends.
