Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a New Product Development / Design to Value Engineer to lead cost optimization for refrigerated merchandisers and drive value across existing product lines.

You will apply value engineering methodologies, collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and Manufacturing Engineering, manage DTV projects from concept to completion, and develop CAD models and simulations to validate solutions with customers.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in design of industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm new and innovative solutions to achieve the product standardization and modularity.

• Collaborate with Product Management to validate the solution with the customer.
• Develop a test plan and work with the Engineering Lab to validate the solution.
• Conduct field tests to validate the solution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrates capability to solve difficult and complex problems

What are the basic qualifications?

• B.S. in Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in design of industrial products

What are the preferred qualifications?

• Experience with product design and solid modeling in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, dehumidifier, sealed-system, airflow thermal management, or similar, design theory and application
• Experience in practical application of Six Sigma and Lean tools
• MS Mechanical Engineering
