Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an NPD/DTV Engineer to develop refrigerated merchandisers and reduce costs across product lines. You will lead DTV projects from concept to completion and collaborate with sourcing, manufacturing, and product teams to validate designs.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in engineering with 1–3 years in industrial design, experience in CAD/MCAD modeling, and familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean tools.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in design of industrial products.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply value engineering methodologies to optimize cost position on existing products.
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and Manufacturing Engineering to implement cost saving projects.
• Manage the DTV project from concept to completion, including scheduling and cross functional communication.
• Brainstorm new and innovative solutions to achieve product standardization and modularity.
• Develop CAD solid models and engineering simulation of proposed concepts.
• Collaborate with Product Management to validate the solution with the customer.
• Develop a test plan and work with the Engineering Lab to validate the solution.
• Conduct field tests to validate the solution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrates capability to solve difficult and complex problems.
