Job summary

SF Tensor in San Francisco is building a fast GPU compiler and Model Foundry to streamline AI research across clouds and chips. We seek a Member of Technical Staff for Product Engineering to own the surface the engine exposes to researchers, ensuring fast, reliable, and enjoyable experiences even after long days of work.

You'll drive end-to-end surfaces, from researcher interfaces to underlying services, with a focus on UX polish and robust APIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping complete products.
• Sharp eye for design and motion; attention to UX details.
• Ability to build APIs and troubleshoot production issues.
• Comfort with AWS, containers and Kubernetes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas in Model Foundry: scoping, designing, building and iterating.
• Build fast, polished web interfaces with Next.js that feel native.
• Design researcher-facing surfaces: dashboards, live logs, comparisons, evals, views.
• Create entry points into Foundry via Slack messages or commits.
• Polish loading states, animations and edge cases for exceptional UX.
• Collaborate with forward-deployed researchers and training teams.
• Balance speed and polish with minimal hand-holding.
