San Francisco Tensor Company, based in San Francisco, is building the fastest GPU compiler and the Model Foundry to manage runs across clouds and chips. We’re seeking a Member of Technical Staff for Product Engineering to own the surface the engine exposes, from researcher interfaces to backend services, ensuring a delightful user experience even at 16 hours a day.

You’ll ship end-to-end features for Model Foundry, design dashboards, live logs, experiment compare, and production-ready interfaces

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping complete products.
• Sharp eye for design, motion, and polish.
• Backend/API and production troubleshooting experience.
• Comfort with AWS, containers and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Model Foundry product areas: scoping, design, build, iterate.
• Build fast, polished web interfaces with NextJS.
• Design researcher-facing surfaces: dashboards, live logs, experiment comparison, eval results, cluster views.
• Create conversational and commit-driven entry points into Foundry (Slack/commit triggers).
• Polish small UX details from loading states to smooth animations and edge cases.
• Collaborate with forward-deployed researchers and training team; feedback loop is minutes.
• Make smart tradeoffs between speed and polish.
