Crane Company in the United States seeks a Product Engineer to drive innovation from ideation through launch, while maintaining and updating existing designs for improved performance and cost.

The role requires strong project management, experience with DFMEA and Kaizen, and hands-on plastics processing knowledge, particularly fluoropolymers. Collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and suppliers is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S in Engineering or related degree.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills used to communicate with vendors/customers, and internal reporting.
• Product design and development expertise.
• Strong project management skills.
• Team player with strong individual initiative and decision making ability.
• Manufacturing process development.

Responsabilités

• Lead product and process development for fluoropolymer lined components, including CAD, prototyping, testing and optimization.
• Act as technical lead on new product development projects with cross-functional teams.
• Interpret industry and customer specifications for product development."
• Interface with customers and suppliers to understand needs and opportunities.
• Source optimized materials with vendors for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop innovative solutions to design problems.
