Job summary

Scientific Games is hiring a Product Engineer to support the GEM solution environment. The role collaborates with corporate development and customer teams to ensure timely, consistent requests and works with Technical Operations to test issues and implement corrective actions.

The position is fully onsite for Middletown, PA area. Responsibilities include testing OutSystems releases, deploying software, monitoring capacity, and assisting with new product releases and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or 2 years of technical system experience.
• 1-2 years of experience with relational database management.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft products.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing OutSystems software releases.
• Support new project/product implementations and maintain existing solutions.
• Deploy Outsystems software releases, Microsoft Reports, SSIS Packages, and Windows Services.
• Ensure system capacity is monitored and considered in planning.
• Identify and report system / security concerns.
• Maintain system monitoring and update Knowledge Base Articles.
• Liaise between the site and local operations for central system changes.
• Work with systems support and local site operations on production issues.
• Test products according to System Requirement Specifications.
• Report detailed issues to Back Office Support for research and resolution.
