Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma experience or Green Belt certification.
• 2-5 years in a similar engineering role with production support.
• Experience with unmanned aerial vehicles, RF, digital and comms electronics design.
• Troubleshooting electronics manufacturing, PCB layout and schematics.
• CAD/D drafting with Altium; adherence to ASME Y14 drawing standards.
• Strong config mgmt, problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Sustain engineering support for a product line.
• Manage product line configuration and change orders in Agile PLM.
• Understand product design, manufacturing processes and customer requirements.
• Serve as technical contact for ongoing support and change initiation.
• Assist in proposals, contract reviews for production orders.
• Coordinate transition of new products into production.
• Release and update engineering docs, manuals, BOMs and procedures.
• Develop, test and release product improvements with peers.
• Provide obsolescence management and customer failure analysis support.
• Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing and planning to resolve production issues.
