Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced design engineer to support and lead product improvements across hardware, firmware, and telecom areas. The role involves tackling quality issues, providing manufacturing and purchasing support, and researching new technologies for customer applications.

You will evaluate field performance, coordinate with sales and marketing, and design robust PCBs (flex/rigid/rigid-flex) while maintaining confidentiality and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF circuits and portable power systems.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Ability to design flex, rigid, and rigid-flex PCBs.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to resolve quality issues and drive product improvements.
• Provide technical assistance to manufacturing, quality, and purchasing; manage returns and failure analyses.
• Identify field performance issues and develop effective solutions.
• Support Sales/Marketing with technical research and customer support.
• Design or support new products with focus on hardware, firmware, and telecommunications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
