Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Hardware Engineer II to help design and develop electrical hardware for field instruments and industrial sensors. You will work in a global team across VE/CE with cross‑functional partners to deliver robust hardware solutions.

Qualifications include 6+ years in electrical/hardware design, experience with MODBUS/PROFIBUS, analog/digital electronics, PCB schematics (ORCAD/Mentor). This role requires hands-on design delivery in NPI and EMI/EMC compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, science, technology or mathematics.
6+ years of experience in developing Electrical / Hardware design.
Hands on experience with serial communication protocols such as MODBUS and PROFIBUS (or UART, SPI, I2C).
Analog and Digital Electronics design.
Knowledge of sensors, instrumentation & signal conditioning electronics.
Micro-controller interfacing and ADC/DAC
EMI/EMC compliance testing and design.

Responsibilities

Work in a global team with ownership for Electrical design in VE/CE.
Design & development of Field Instruments and related instruments.
Schematic development, circuit analysis, component selection, detailed design and verification testing.
Interfacing with mechanical, manufacturing, simulation, drafting, ECAD, evaluation and supply chain teams.
Technical report generation and documentation.
