Job summary

Klein Tools seeks a Product Engineer II to design, develop, and improve quality tools and products. You will work on product design, sustaining activity, and project management with guidance from senior engineers.

You will use 3D CAD and perform feasibility studies, cost estimates, and develop solutions for on-time delivery, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to meet user needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Experience facilitating projects and presenting financial justifications
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and time constraints
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Determine and execute design principles and approaches within program requirements
• Collaborate with managers and senior engineers to decide engineering methods
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal customers to ensure design adherence
• Estimate timelines and manage multiple projects with guidance
• Review feasibility studies including cost estimates and proposals
• Schedule development activities and resolve design/testing issues
