Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer II to join our Industrial Solutions Aftermarket & Services team in Indiana. The role collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to drive new product development and lifecycle management.

You will evaluate samples, run tests, and provide technical guidance on filtration products and industry standards. You will also act as a liaison across manufacturing, engineering, quality, field service, and purchasing to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum three years’ experience in a technical engineering role.
Product engineering or CAD design experience preferred.
Experience with Teamcenter, ARAS.
Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
Analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel in internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners for new product development and product launches.
Evaluate samples, conduct laboratory testing, and analyze performance data for quality and compliance.
Serve as a technical liaison to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Provide technical expertise on filtration products, standards, applications, and corrective actions.
Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain to assess and optimize supplier performance.
Manage engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, ECRs, and specs.
Support lifecycle management of replacement parts and new product releases.
