Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Avon, Ohio, is seeking an Engineer 2-3 for Product who will plan and perform professional engineering assignments in product support, development, or manufacturing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply FMEA, GD&T, and design reviews, and support product launches and field issue resolution. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of engineering experience are required, with travel estimated at ~10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience or demonstrated success as Engineer 1 at Bendix.
• Automotive or commercial vehicle industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in FMEA and DVP&R processes.
• Apply standard engineering methods to analyze product performance and resolve issues.
• Investigate engineering problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Develop and execute analyses, test plans, and validation activities for components or subsystems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on design reviews and product launches.
