BI Incorporated, in Boulder, Colorado, seeks an experienced engineer to lead design and sustaining activities for hardware and firmware. You will guide projects end-to-end, address quality issues, and support manufacturing teams with engineering expertise.

The role requires strong RF, analog/digital electronics knowledge, PCB design skills, and ability to manage contractors. A customer-focused approach and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or four years of experience.
• At least three years of product design, test and manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with vendor/contractor management.
• Knowledge of RF, portable power, analog and digital electronics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and sustaining engineering for company products.
• Study, test, and qualify new or modified products.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and purchasing teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis and product upgrades as needed.
• Support Sales/Marketing with technical information and customer questions.
