Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years of product development experience.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks and BOM management.
• ASME Y14.5 certification and knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and GD&T standards.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Responsibilities

• Product Design: Design, develop, and detail new technologies and products using SolidWorks. Maintain legacy production products.
• Prototyping & Testing: Assist with component procurement, prototype assembly, integration, and functional/ballistic/blast/drop-tower testing.
• Technical Documentation: Author design reviews, trade studies, test plans/reports, and requirement tracking files.
• Proposal Support: Assist engineering and commercial teams with bid and proposal efforts.
