Job summary

UniversalAGI in San Francisco seeks a Product Engineer to own and extend our customer-facing product across the stack, supporting early deployments in CFD and reservoir engineering. You will build experiences for importing CAD/3D geometry, configuring workflows, monitoring simulations, and deploying results, partnering with platform engineering and researchers.

This role focuses on user workflows, interfaces, APIs, data models, visualization, and integrations, with direct collaboration to turn

Qualifications

• Experience shipping and operating customer-facing products across frontend, backend, APIs and data systems.
• Ability to translate complex technical workflows into clear, effective experiences for expert users.
• Production-focused mindset with reliability, migrations, and incident handling.
• Customer-focused approach with direct engagement in an early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer workflows from geometry and data through model configuration and deployed results.
• Ship features across the stack using React/TypeScript, Next.js, Python, databases, cloud services and APIs.
• Design intuitive interfaces, workflow templates, and APIs for simulations, datasets and evaluations.
• Work directly with customers to understand needs and translate lessons into scalable capabilities.
• Maintain production quality with observability, performance, versioning, migrations, and incident diagnosis.
• Shape product and architecture with the founding team and platform engineering.
