Randstad USA is seeking an engineering co-op in Danvers, MA for a 6-month program from January 4, 2027 to June 25, 2027. Onsite in Danvers, MA with responsibilities spanning data gathering, testing, CAD modeling in SolidWorks, and packaging design.

You will learn product knowledge quickly and communicate updates to leadership. The role requires rising juniors/seniors in engineering, GPA 3.0+, CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualificações

• Rising junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsabilidades

• Contact suppliers to gather data on Mobius components and packaging systems.
• Coordinate sample builds, in-house testing, and data analysis on results.
• Write documents from templates (Purchase Specifications and Validation Reports).
• Create CAD models in SolidWorks.
• Develop custom product packaging designs.
• Create/update drawings per customer/plant requirements.
• Submit documents to Quality Documentation System.
• Conduct research on new technologies, components, packaging.
• Summarize and present project updates to leadership.

This is a 6-month co-op starting January 4th, 2027 and going through June 25th, 2027. Must have transportation to go onsite in Danvers, MA. Requirements

• Rising Junior or Senior in a Bachelor's Degree studying an Engineering discipline, preferred Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• strong computer skills and learning agility; capable of using and learning software tools used to manage projects or run equipment
• strong ability to quickly absorb product knowledge is key
• strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Goal oriented and works well with limited supervision
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and organized
• Prior experience with CAD software; experience with SolidWorks is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Prior experience with products of a technical nature such as medical devices, electronics, or computers is preferred

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers/manufacturers to gather available data on Mobius components and packaging systems
• Coordinate sample builds, conduct in house testing, coordinate external product and packaging testing, perform data analysis on test results
• Write required documents from templates (Purchase Specifications and Validation Protocols/Reports)
• Create CAD models in SolidWorks
• Develop custom product packaging designs
• Create/update drawings based on customer and/or plant requirements
• Submit documents to Quality Documentation System
• Conduct research on new technologies, components, packaging
• Summarize and present project updates to leadership on a regular basis
