Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support project engineers and project managers in planning, executing, and closing capital and expense projects.
  • Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Participate in field walks, construction coordination meetings, and project status reviews.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and equipment documentation.
  • Create and update engineering drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Assist with equipment installation planning, commissioning, and qualification activities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, validation, and safety teams to support project execution.
  • Develop project documentation including meeting minutes, action item logs, and progress reports.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and project risks.
  • Support contractor coordination and monitor project activities for compliance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare presentations for engineering and leadership teams

We are seeking a co‑op to join our dynamic Research & Development team. This role supports the Life Science Biology franchise within MilliporeSigma.

We are seeking a highly motivatedSenior Engineering undergraduate/graduate levelto join our Project Management Office team within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position provides hands‑on experience supporting capital projects, facility upgrades, equipment installations, maintenance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced project managers, engineers, and operations personnel to deliver projects that support manufacturing, utility systems, laboratory operations, and regulatory compliance.

This role is ideal for students interested in developing practical project engineering skills while gaining exposure to highly regulated pharmaceutical operations.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field
