Job summary

A global IT services company in Saline, Michigan seeks a motivated engineer to develop chassis components for truck and SUV models. You'll create and manage 3D data, lead communications between teams, and monitor field issues. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and at least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical engineer. This role requires working in the office Monday through Thursday and may involve up to 20% overtime.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more as a Mechanical engineer or equivalent.
• Ability to work up to 20% overtime at various times.
• Must be able to work in the office from Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Develop chassis components of Truck and SUV models.
• Create and manage 3D data, technical documentation, and drawings.
• Perform regulation and certification confirmation activities.
• Lead communication between design, supplier, and project management teams.
• Monitor North America field issues and warranty conditions for chassis components.
