Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. seeks a Product Engineer Acquisitions to support acquiring new business by designing and developing concepts and applying existing designs to customer platforms.

You will ensure customer requirements are met and coordinate with internal stakeholders for design targets, manufacturing, purchasing and quality. The role involves validating feasibility, handing projects to the team after award, and collaborating with global BU to implement best practices in

Qualifications

• Experience in design for automotive manufacturing components (preferred).
• Strong background in automotive and suspensions (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Designs passive and electronic shock absorber and strut applications to meet customer specifications.
• Researches data to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Present design proposals to internal team during design reviews to assess risks.
