Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software.
• Strong full-stack development experience, with backend engineering expertise preferred.
• Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end features from concept through deployment and evaluation.
• Strong product judgment and ability to influence what gets built.
• Experience building rapid prototypes using AI-assisted development tools.
• Interest in working directly with customers and solving real-world business problems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship full-stack product features from idea to production.
• Build backend services and user-facing applications with emphasis on backend engineering.
• Collaborate with collision repair shops, estimators, and parts managers to understand needs.
• Translate feedback into product improvements and technical solutions.
• Build rapid prototypes and test product ideas using AI-assisted development tools.
• Evolve prototypes into production-ready software.
• Own product outcomes, adoption metrics, and customer value.
• Make trade-offs between engineering complexity, speed, and impact.
• Help users transition to AI-assisted and supervised automation.
• Collaborate with teams to scale solutions for North American market.
