Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 0–2 years experience.
• Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, and AWS Cloud.
• Strong CS fundamentals; read and reason about code you didn't write.
• Excellent written communication.
• Genuine curiosity about AI-based development.
• Verification mindset and secure coding awareness.
• Self-motivated fast learner.
• Collaborative problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production software using modern AI-based development workflows.
• Write precise specifications, technical plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Own correctness, security, and maintainability; review AI-generated code.
• Keep codebases lean and avoid over-engineering.
• Use AI resources cost-effectively within engineering constraints.
• Develop deep automotive retail domain expertise.
• Solve problems of moderate scope with increasing independence.
• Experiment with new AI development techniques and share with the team.
• Plan and prioritize work with decreasing need for direction; collaborate widely.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform reliability.
• Follow CDK Global policies and responsible AI usage guidelines.
• Meet or exceed all performance expectations.
