Job summary

Syntro Inc. is building the first agentic procurement platform for modern hardware manufacturing, enabling discovery and management of suppliers across the lifecycle with AI. We’re looking for a product engineer to work directly with customers, figure out what should exist, and then build it.

You’ll own customer problems end to end, build across the stack (Next.js, Node, Postgres), and create visibility across supplier workflows so teams stay aligned without manual data re-entry.

Qualifications

• Exceptional engineer with TypeScript and React.
• Enjoy talking to customers and understanding how they work.
• Able to turn ambiguous customer problems into simple product solutions.
• Taken important products or features from zero to one.
• Prefer defining what needs to exist over taking tickets from a queue.
• Bonus: founded a company, worked on procurement/supply chain software, or built AI-enabled products.

Responsibilities

• Own customer problems end to end: conversation → decision → implementation → adoption.
• Build across the stack: frontend and backend with Next.js, Node, PostgreSQL.
• Create visibility across hardware procurement: connect supplier conversations, parts, quotes, POs, BOMs.
• Build intelligent workflows by combining internal context with external data.
• Define how humans and agents work together: surface information, recommend actions, or execute autonomously.
